What Is The Female Lead Society?
The Female Lead Society is an educational charity that grows the confidence and skills of young women by providing empowering educational resources and amazing opportunities to students in schools for free.

Empowering Through Educational Resources
Our data-driven educational resources have been co-authored by secondary students and tested by teachers in the UK. They can be led by students or by teachers as out-of-the-box lesson plans (we use Bloom’s Taxonomy Framework). Students will cover topics that are not only interesting, but important in the fight for gender equality.
These resources are best used as the fuel to your school’s dedicated Female Lead Society meetings but can also be used as part of PSHE lessons, assemblies and form activities.

From red-carpet film premieres and one-to-one mentoring sessions to high-profile careers events, we provide students with exclusive opportunities that grow their confidence and self-belief. We believe that amazing things happen when girls meet their role models which is why we provide plenty of opportunities every year for Female Lead Society members to see or meet women who can inspire them.
Creating Connection Through Communities
We encourage and support schools to set up their own Female Lead Society and use our content and resources as the fuel for connection and conversation. Using real world data to ignite debate and discussion, our society members learn how to navigate differing opinions as well as how to work together towards a common goal.
